America is addicted to coffee.

We are drinking more coffee than ever before. Whether it’s a latte from Starbucks on the way to work, or a gourmet coffee brewed at home, coffee is bigger than ever.

And hey, we love a good cappuccino as much as the next person.

But as you might have expected from the title of this post (and the fact that we are tea connoisseurs), we think that tea kicks coffee’s ass.

Why so?!

More than just caffeine

You know how coffee is supposed to be this amazing energy booster?

Well, it can certainly wake you up. But let’s be honest: All it has is caffeine.

Caffeine is America’s favorite drug.

Before you start worrying, this is not a caffeine-bashing post. In fact, we love caffeine. And that’s why it’s included in our teas.

Our Dayholic blend is a herbal tea for energy that has a high caffeine content (65mg per serving), which is sure to get things going in the morning.

But it goes beyond caffeine.

The Dayholic blend is our best tea for energy because it also includes adaptogen herbs that have traditionally been used to increase stamina and have been shown to boost overall energy and focus.

The combo of Yerba mate, Kola Nut, and Cocoa Nibs in our energizing tea is a potent one, and these ingredients have all been shown to boost mental alertness.

But the really great thing about tea?

Tea can calm and relax

Sometimes you’re just not in the mood for an energy boost. Like, before bed. In fact, some people will avoid coffee anytime in the afternoon to avoid being kept awake at night.

And let’s be honest, no one drinks a coffee because they are ready to unwind and chill out.

Tea’s got you covered there—like our Unplug blend.

This all-natural calming tea blend contains ingredients that are traditionally used to calm and soothe the body and mind.

Chamomile has long been used for its soothing properties, and some people still enjoy a chamomile tea before bed.

Honeybush is also included in the mix, which has been shown to soothe muscles and reduce inflammation.

This blend also has zero caffeine content.

So when you’re ready to relax and unwind, perhaps as the day comes to its end, brew a relaxing tea instead.

Ahh, that’s got us all sleepy now…

Choose your blend

So there you go, just a couple of reasons why tea beats coffee.

If you’ve always turned straight to your morning espresso for an energy boost first thing, give our Dayholid blend a try instead for some natural energy.

Then relax and unwind later in the day with our Unplug blend.

Enjoy!
